Mr. Trump himself says that American taxpayers have long been taken advantage of, Americans have wasted their hard earned money and paid billions of dollars for unnecessary spending. This wastefulness where the legacy governments have taken advantage of Americans, hence one of the reasons that DOGE was formed. 
Why are Americans having to pay almost 7% interest rates on student loans? 

I am deeply concerned for the American people and their ability to pay off their student loans. I am certain people want to pay their loans and obligations however, the current interest rates on these loans are alarmingly high, close to 7%. These interest rates have risen alarmingly high from when their loans originated. This makes it nearly impossible for Americans to fully repay their debts. We believe that obtaining a college education should be affordable for everyone, not a privilege reserved for the few. These nearly 7% interest rates that continue to rise need to be lowered substantially! Payment plans need to be allowed, retroactive consideration, and a program to start over on defaulted loans considering they’ve had years of enormous interest rates adding to their balance that the government is capitalizing on. 

PLEASE LOWER THE INTEREST RATES ON STUDENT LOANS IMMEDIATELY!
