My name is Stacie Doebber a resident of Elmendorf, TX, and I have been living in this community for over 20 years. Over these years, one thing has become increasingly clear - our water bills are unjustifiably high. We are paying for water that we do not consume.

This issue affects everyone in our community. It's not just about the financial burden; it's also about fairness and accountability from those who set these rates. According to the U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the average American family uses 300 gallons of water per day at home. However, many of us here in Elmendorf are being charged for far more than what we actually use.

This is not only unfair but also unsustainable for many families who are already struggling to make ends meet. The cost of living continues to rise while wages remain stagnant or even decrease.

We need your help to bring this issue to light and demand a fair adjustment of our water bills based on actual usage rather than arbitrary estimates or flat rates that do not reflect reality.
