I hate seeing many individuals out on the streets because they don't have the amount of money just for housing. Basic things such as housing, groceries, and other necessities have continued to grow in price.  According to Payscale, the cost of living in Hawaii is 84% above the national average.  Being without a permanent home can lead to many harmful affects like declining mental health. The cost of basic necessities are almost doubled compared to the other states.

This petition will be sent to Governor Josh Green, because he has the power to change the price on basic necessities as he has the power to lower prices  and he has addressed the problem before.
