According to the renewable energy charity MCS Foundation, between now and 2050 energy bills will increase by 70%. I don’t know about you but I don’t want to be paying that much money every month. Did you know that at the minute we aren’t even paying for this renewable energy? What we are paying for at the minute is Fossil Fuels. Actually, a lot of what we pay for isn’t even energy. Basically, only75% of your energy bills is actually energy. For example, say your monthly bill is £150, then £37.50 is not even energy, and it doesn’t seem like a lot when you look at one month, but it adds up. If your anual bill is £1790 then £445.50 is not energy.
