Drogheda skate park is in dire need of suitable lighting.

As we all know most of the year in Ireland, the evenings can get dark quick meaning the skatepark is basically out of bounds from 5.30pm - For anyone who uses the skate park on a hobby/amateur level, The park is only safe to use at that time in the evening due to the increased use of the park by younger age groups.

Not to mention anyone who can't make it to the park due to work commitments etc. 

With only the glow of the street lights from the busy road above, It's not possible to concentrate fully on the sport safely.

Every outdoor sport facilty in the country have lights installed as a given. 

The skate park is a very valuable asset to Drogheda & the Community - It ideally needs an expansion or suitable location to facilitate the demand as the sport trends worldwide.But for now.............. Lights!
