Hello all!
We've hit 100 signatures on the petition so far and it seems to be picking up speed. I'll be visiting the Comission of Public Art meeting tomorrow with a more refined rendering of my proposal to see if they'd at least entertain this ridiculous idea. Fingers crossed!
Also, I've completed an ink illustration that will be going to Louisville's own Full Bleed MFG for print soon. I'll share the preorder link once it's all set. The profits for the Can Opener merch sales will go towards this project... or in the event the city isn't open to moving forward, I intend to donate the profits towards a local charity to help out our neighbors. Win/Win either way, and you'll still be able to rep our beloved Can Opener with pride.
