The Taylor Oil Spill has been occurring since 2004, 11 miles off of the coast of Louisiana. The Taylor Energy oil platform was destroyed during Hurricane Ivan and has been pouring gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico every day. Much like the Deepwater Horizon accident, only the Deepwater Horizon accident has mostly been resolved, even though the ocean is still feeling the impact. Therefore, the Taylor Oil Spill is hurting the environment regardless. It's important we get this issue resolved as it is extremely important for the ocean to stay clean and animal life to be cleaned and not hurt by this oil.
