As students, we pay over £9,000 in tuition fees a year! This is already a steep price for education compared to the previous £3,000 fees. Many of us students feel that due to the UCU strike action we are entitled to a minimum of £300 in compensation due to missed contact time and overall content.

It is only fair as we as individuals are customers and are not getting what we paid for. Yet the uni is still collecting our tuition fees as normal. This is a preventable temporary end to a service we pay for.
