International students pay around double what UK/EU students pay for their University degrees. This is because they/ or their families pay taxes towards the UK's economy, which is understandable. 

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many international students have either had to sacrifice travelling to see their families, whether it is a matter of lack of flights or a dedication to their studies which they don't feel comfortable completing at home; or they have abruptly moved home where they have had to pay for emergency flights and technology to support their studies remotely. 

The pandemic has affected everyone differently, but we feel it is unfair that we pay huge amounts of money to receive less than what we were promised. The UK higher education system continues to be globally recognised, and we feel proud to be part of that, yet the support and level of education has now become less than what we invested in initially.
