The Issue

  • We, the tax payers of Huntington Park request for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's - Public Integrity Division to conduct an investigation on the City Council, City Manager, Finance Director, City Clerk, Director of Community Development, Public Works Department, Chief of Police, Parks Dept.  
  • The City Council has been approving contracts to their personal friend and campaign manager Efren Martinez. 
  • The City Council approved of an aquatic center to be built on contaminated soil, and without any funds available.  To date, the removal of the remedial soil, construction, plans, etc. has costed the tax payers over $10 million dollars. 
  • The City Council is spending the city's tax payers funds, and the State and Federal funds to their closest friends.
  • The City Council together with the City Manager and Finance Director has laid off long-time, good reputable experienced employees, including those who are disabled.
  • The City Council, City  Manger, Chief of Police and Finance Director are allowing the operation of illegal marijuana dispensaries and cultivating in the city without the proper state and county permits.
  • The City is failing to be transparent.  We demand an audit.
