The city is proposing to replace the speed bumps with new ones that meet specs for fire safety and the ADA. However their proposal needs to be approved by the commission.  Come speak and show your support at the meeting using one or more of the points in the petition.  
As an update, the city hired a surveyor who confirmed that the humps are typically 7-7.5 inches on the El Monte side so we have validation that the humps are twice the national and local fire district standards.
