Good news but we still need your help! A survey commissioned by the city confirmed that the bumps were built way over the spec agreed upon by the community---on the El Monte side they are mostly 7-7.5 inches high, as we have been telling them.   The new Los Altos city manager has told me he will bring a proposal to the upcoming meeting to lower the Cuesta  speed bumps to meet the fire safety standards.  But we still don't know how the commission will vote.  

Please come speak to support reducing the bumps.  It is a remote meeting so you can call in from anywhere. The agenda item is scheduled  for 7:30pm but I recommend coming by 7:15 in case they run ahead of schedule. Here is the agenda with the dial in details.
