The review of the Dogs on Beaches & Parks Policy has progressed with a further briefing with Council occurring in late March 2019 where there was support regarding establishment of a fenced dog off leash park at Reed Park Dapto and at JJ Kelly Reserve in Wollongong. In addition to this petition there was also strong general community support for fenced off-leash dog areas.

Consultation with users of those parks is currently underway and the revised Policy is due to be reported to Council in late July 2019.
