Today the petition for a fully fenced dog park with over 1,000 signatures was submitted to council. The petition was submitted to all four Ward Two Councillors and to the Engagement Team, who are currently conducting public consultations for three proposed off-leash dog parks (none were proposed as fully fenced dog parks).

The Recreation & Open Space Project Officer was contacted in the hope that the petition could be presented face to face but unfortunately there was no response from council regarding the meeting request. A second meeting request has now been made with all four Ward Two Councillors. I am hoping one of them will be open to meeting and I will update you once I hear back.
