We, the undersigned students, parents, and community members, petition the administration to adjust our school’s lunch period from 11:06–11:53 AM to a full, standardized hour from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The current 47-minute schedule creates unnecessary rushes through cafeteria lines, leaving students with inadequate time to sit, eat, and properly recharge for the afternoon. By shifting to a round, 60-minute window, we can ensure every student has ample time to consume a healthy meal, reduce hallway congestion, simplify scheduling, and return to class focused and ready to learn.
