As part of the fight against Terrorism in Somalia the British Government is funding the African Union Troops (AMISOM)  as a donor country with the European Union  and United Nations (in Somalia). These African Union Troops have carried out and continue to carry out  human rights abuses against vulnerable Somali citizens without donor Oversight and Accountability. So far there has been no single prosecution for the widespread rapes by African Union Troops (AMISOM). The very perpetrators of these heinous crimes (African Union) is expected (under their Mission Mandate) to investigate their own crimes. As British Tax payers we demand greater Donor Accountability from our Government so that our British taxes are not used to fund Foreign Troops who enjoy complete impunity for rapes and killings of innocent children and women abroad. This is counter-productive to defeating terrorism and will only fuel further terrorism recruitment if left unchecked.
