Dear Fellow Resident,

Mayor Fiaz is almost certainly going to raise some parking charges by more than 60% next year compared to 2021 prices. Enough is enough! Now is your time to express your democratic right to protest and tell Mayor to stop revenue raising from motorists.

Not only do we have the broken promise regarding the first car tax Newham is being inundated with cameras designed with poor signage to maximise revenue. At the cost of some of our most vulnerable residents. What we need is thousands of charging points to clean our air, but Cllr James Asser refuses to reinvest these stealth taxes to installing them. He thinks 160 charging points is adequate for 69000 cars in the Borough. This is a disgrace.

We need to send a strong message to the Labour party that Mayor Fiaz and Cllrs Asser and Jahan are incapable of managing our borough and the health of its people.

If we don’t act now then we will continue to see massive increases on the stealth taxes you pay Newham Council.
