Friends, We are on the final stages of our campaign to get the disastrous Bishopsgate Goodsyard planning application thrown out. Though Boris Johnson has taken over the decision on this £800 million scheme, the two Councils will formally review the planning application at public hearings: THIS THURSDAY 10th December at 6.30pm (Hackney Town Hall) and 7pm (Tower Hamlets Town Hall) Both Councils recommend their committees REFUSE the development plans on a number of grounds including its height, overshadowing, lack of affordable housing and impact on adjacent conservation areas and the Tower of London World Heritage Site. We want everyone who cares about Shoreditch and the surrounding area to go to these meetings and make their feelings known.
