Hello, Petition Family!

It's been a year since my last update, which came following a meeting with one of Loblaw's executives, Alain Beaudoin.  I expressed my frustration with the pace of change when it comes to pressuring suppliers to change the way they package their produce.  Alain applauded us for holding Loblaw's feet to the fire.  Now - today - comes news that Loblaw is reporting a 508 million dollar profit in the second quarter - an increase of 31.3% from the same period last year.

508 MILLION DOLLARS IN PROFIT IN THE SECOND QUARTER!!!

So what has happened to our request for action, Loblaw?  We haven't heard from you for A YEAR now.  In light of today's earnings statement, I'd say it's time for a response to our continued request for ACTION.

Please forward this petition to your friends and family, folks!  Our target is 300,000 signatures.  WE CAN DO IT IF WE ALL PULL TOGETHER!
