Wow!!!  So many of you have responded to the call to record a selfie video addressed to Galen G. Weston - the Chairman and President of Loblaw Companies Ltd.  Thank you!!!

Today, Loblaw held its Annual General Meeting.  We can only assume that shareholders were thrilled.  Why?  Because yesterday, Loblaw announced its Q1 profits had soared to 437 million dollars from 313 million during the same period last year.  That's a LOT of profit.

Clearly, Loblaw has the resources to create the leverage required to do one very important thing:  pressure its suppliers to provide sustainable packaging solutions.  In other words, NO PLASTIC!!!

Now is the time to hold Loblaw to its environmental commitments and I need your help to do it!  Will you please take a minute to record a selfie video addressing Galen G. Weston and calling on him to demand more sustainable packaging solutions?
