This marine biologist in the Bahamas has just won the environmental version of the Nobel Prize for her crusade to keep plastic out of the sea and out of the bodies of marine animals.  Plastic waste is a global issue, and it's time for major retailers like Loblaw to take us seriously.  Two years ago, this petition began with a modest goal of 100,000 signatures.  It's now heading for 300,000, but it needs your help to get there!  Please share this again with your friends and family, and hold the biggest food retailer in Canada accountable.  (See the link below.)
