Tune in tonight as CBC Marketplace takes a deep dive - once again - into the issue of plastic food packaging. It was Marketplace reporter David Common's first story on this issue in January that inspired our "little petition that could". Two and a half months later, we are over 63,000 signatures on the way to 100,000. Loblaw Companies Inc. cannot ignore 100,000 voices asking for change. Would you please forward this link to friends and family who would lend their support? Meantime, the Canadian government has announced a new federal strategy on consumer plastics is coming out in June. More than 80% of Canadians say they are concerned. The message is simple: WE WILL NOT BUY FOODS PACKAGED IN PLASTIC ANYMORE. #PlasticIsNotFantastic
