In Minnesota, for court proceedings to be livestreamed to the Internet, a motion must be filed with the court demonstrating public interest. This petition exists to demonstrate to the Kandiyohi County that nationwide and international interest exists in the case of State of Minnesota v. Nicholas Rekieta, Kayla Rekieta and that it would be unreasonable to expect all interested parties to attend in person.
