Love East Gippsland's forest wonders

LOVE EAST GIPPSLAND’S FOREST WONDERS
Ancient trees are like the blue whales of the land.
These forests are unique, beautiful and priceless.
With a new Victorian Labor Government, our forests have their best chance for years to be protected as wildlife arks and as a refuge for the now rare giants of our Earth.
East Gippsland is the stronghold of Victoria’s natural forests and wildlife.
But areas like the magnificent Kuark Forest, home to rare rainforest and threatened forest Owls, are earmarked for logging in the next 12 months.
The new Labor Government (elected Nov 2014) is showing a more progressive approach to land management than the previous Coalition Government.
Now is their chance to protect East Gippsland's forest wonders.
Please sign this petition to the Victorian Minister for Environment Lisa Neville, asking her to protect East Gippsland’s magnificent forests and their threatened wildlife.
