I was alone, scared, and compliant, yet the sheer number of officers made me feel like a dangerous criminal. This experience was not only humiliating but it shattered my peace of mind. The trauma from that day was so immense that it impacted my mental health and even led to the loss of my job.

No one should have to endure such a harrowing experience over a simple traffic stop, especially not in Brantford, Ontario, a community we consider safe and supportive. The current practice of dispatching multiple officers to handle one individual in a non-threatening situation is excessive, unnecessary, and often intimidates compliant citizens.
