The basketball and tennis courts at Hackham West Community Centre are loved by many—but without lighting, they sit empty most evenings during winter.

We’re asking the City of Onkaparinga to install simple, mains-powered lighting at the courts. This would:

• Let families and young people enjoy safe, healthy recreation after work or school
• Boost community use of this major public asset
• Enable future community events with access to power
• Align with SA’s clean, renewable energy future

Power could run from the nearby community centre, avoiding the need for unreliable solar batteries.

This small upgrade will make a big difference—especially during the shorter daylight months.

Let’s make our shared space more usable, safe, and welcoming. Sign below to support lighting for Hackham West Courts.
