After all this time Gemma finally had her first treatment of Immunotherapy at the Hallwang Clinic! As you know she has been put on palliative care by the NHS with only a few months to live. She needs to go back to Hallwang every three weeks for the foreseeable future. And this is the latest update posted by Gemma’s mother Helen at the GoFundMe-page: “Gemma & Myself flew over to Germany last weekend to begin her first set of treatment. It all went as well as can be expected - Its quite an emotional trip as we see sights no young person should ever have to see - A lot of the patients at the clinic arrive in a very poor condition . we just have to do what we have to do and come home again and re-group ready for the next round hopefully in 3 weeks time. We cant thank everyone enough for all your help and support , we would not be able to do this if it was not for each and everyone of you .
