Hi everyone, as shared with you in the last update, Gemma was about to visit a clinic in Munich for her first session of Immunotherapy. The reason for Munich by the way was simple: it was much more affordable. BUT UNFORTUNATELY THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Days before her first visit to Munich, Gemma had a seizure. She was immediately taken to the hospital. The outcome of a brain scan was crushing: It showed another five ! brain tumours. She had to start radiotherapy once more. This time to the whole brain – for 10 straight days. NHS told them that’s it, there is nothing more they can do. She has been put on palliative care WITH ONLY A FEW MONTHS TO LIVE. And unfortunately news from Munich was equally devastating. After the discovery of the new tumours they were not able to help Gemma any longer. It was then that they contacted the impossibly expensive Hallwang Clinic. Gemma and her mother immediately made the trip to Hallwang for an on-site consultation.
