Dear Friends of Sea-Eye,
over the last 3 weeks, more than 500 people have died at Europe's borders. Only one rescue ship was deployed. What can Europe do? These recent tragedies have shown that many more rescue ships are needed! Together with our partner United4Rescue, we are therefore giving a clear answer to this question: We are sending the second coalition ship SEA-EYE 4 to the Mediterranean.
Buying and overhauling a rescue ship requires a lot of money and a lot of support. Sea-Eye and United4Rescue already receive support from over 600 allies. But we need many more donors to save as many people as possible from drowning and to send the ship to the Mediterranean Sea by early next year. Because you don't let people drown. Full stop.
