Jan 13, 2017 — Hi everyone,

Thanks again to each and everyone of you who has signed / shared this petition and gotten the word out. I've been using Google to find backlinks and have been joining multiple new forums who are all discussing this to say thanks to you all (sometimes in badly written Google Translations!)

We've got a much larger audience on here than a few days ago so again if any of you can write articles, tweets, just generally get the word out there it would be massively appreciated - this is for all of us at the end of the day.

It doesn't seem like the general public actually realise 3D support will be missing from their TV soon as I keep seeing comments from people saying they'll buy a different brand - once it's gone it's gone unless we really give a good push now. Definitely a gap in the market for someone to exploit anyway.

This has been a busy few days and we saw another burst in signatures after new forum posts, new articles published & tweets were retweeted by the right people and this has reached a really good audience.

Big thanks to Rick, Steve @ HCC, Vincent @ HDTVTest, Mat @ Techmoan (if you haven't checked out Mat's Youtube channel you really should) for your retweets, and the guys at What Hi-Fi for running a story today. Between all of you guys we have got the potential to reach a big audience and I'm willing to take any digs from the non-3D fans on the chin (it's a large one)! Sorry it's sounding like a Grammy speech now but you have all really helped push this out there unlike some sites which just want us 3D fans to suffer in silence :)

The comments are coming in thick and fast and there seem to be a lot of you in the UK, USA, Canada, Germany, France, Austria and Italy who really love your 3D and you have really helped push up the signature count since the articles were published in Germany and France. I'm seeing comments from Australia & New Zealand too!

Really a global push here so far - not bad to say no-one wants 3D any more ;)

I'm waiting until we hit 3000 signatures (which I think is completely achievable by the end of next week) and then I'm going to send a few emails to folks in LG whose addresses I have been collecting covering LG over the world.

I've already forwarded a link to this over to Rob Mcintyre and thanks to the guys over in the Blu-Ray forums and Home Theater Forum for pointing me in his direction. He's probably sick of the emails now but he has kindly said he'll forward them up the chain within LG USA.

I don't know if any of this will make a difference but we're trying and at the end of the day that's all we can do.

If these companies are happy enough to dump 3D so easily the same sort of thing could happen to the new formats if they never take off and it's us, the guys who pay the money, who are left out of pocket again and expected to double / triple dip by buying the same films again and again in new formats.

Thanks again everyone and as always any help is always welcomed,

Enjoy your weekends!

Best regards,

Aidan
