Dear Supporters,

Thank you for your support and your stories or views.  To ensure the success of this petition in encouraging the Administration to review or rethink their plan to allow new materials and learnings to be taught, I have deleted the comments.  I was alerted that people are being distracted and misinterpreting the message and intent of the petition.  As supporters, I'm sure you will agree that it is of the utmost importance to ensure this success of this petition.  I would encourage you to voice your opinions and messages directly to the Administration.

I would also like this opportunity to clarify on the situation.  The "reinforcement and enrichment" content that is being provided to our children were based on the directives of the Administration regarding "no new instructions", the teachers were not allowed the flexibility of providing our children with ongoing curriculum even if they wanted to.  I asked our highschool teacher to provide new content but the teacher said they were specifically told not to.  I heard the same message being given by several teachers.  I'm sure many teachers are also frustrated by this directive.  Please give the teachers a chance to do what they are good at by lobbying the Administration to lift this cap on the curriculum!
