Lewisham Council have issued an inadequate response to the dozens of letters that were sent by change supporters. They did not address the issues that were raised and instead recycled - in some places copying and pasting - phrases from previous correspondence. It's clear that they do not understand the harmful impact that felling this tree will have. 

Tree surgeons are now on site and we are occupying the tree.
