On a tangent, Inazuma Eleven begun airing in Africa. Not the US, AFRICA! HOW? Sigh, progress. Anyways:
Level 5 company president and CEO Akihiro Hino (of Ni no Kuni fame) confirmed in a Nikkei Trendy interview that the renowned RPG developer is working on games for Nintendo's recently released Switch hardware.
Thanks to information I found from Gematsu, this is what we got so far: While nothing has been confirmed yet, Level 5 is working on a new Inazuma Eleven game for the 3DS and it has been confirmed to have versions on "higher quality game machines", possibly indicating a Switch release. We'll keep you posted as soon as we hear any more information on Switch RPGs.
There's also an android game Inazuma Eleven: Everyday+ will launch for iOS and Android in Japan in late June for 600 yen, Level-5 announced during the latest Inazuma Walker live stream.
As previously detailed, Inazuma Eleven Everyday+ is set around when Endou and others are aiming to win the “Football Frontier” championship. You’ll watch over the daily lives of either Mamoru Endou, Shuuyain Gouenji, or the newly added Yuuto Kidou in 24 hours real-time and deepen your bonds with them through various events.
Also, as an Inazuma Walker special bonus, Level-5 announced that the game will include an additional character voice for the game’s alarm feature.
