Lets stop late diagnosis of cancer and life threatening diseases!

Lets stop late diagnosis of cancer and life threatening diseases!
The Issue
Hi there ! Im 29 and a first time mum to a baby boy, who wishes to change how people are examined and diagnosed with cancer. Including, other life threatening diseases in the uk.
My mum was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, after being diagnosed incorrectly by a doctor who made her wait a year for a nhs scan, despite her concerns of her family history of cancer and how she sensed that her continuing mild symptoms could be the beggining of the disease.
I have met and known too many people who have been denied immediate scans by uk doctors. This includes my uncle, who died of cancer because of a delayed investigation of his health, which lead to a delayed scan that could have saved his life.
The procedures of diagnosis of cancer by the nhs are not effective, when detecting this disease early. Patients need to be taken more seriously when they sense that they are not well and potentially could have the life threatening disease.
I want to raise awareness for people in future,
who feel they have concerns that they may have cancer, but are not having their concerns being adressed and investigated thoroughly by their local GPs.
The diagnosis procedures are not good enough for detecting cancer early and saving lives.
If you could please sign my petition to make positive and constructive changes for our health care system, I would be so grateful for your support. Thank you so much for signing my petition!
Google and NHS Statistics:
Approximately 46% of cancer patients in England are diagnosed at an advanced stage (stages 3 or 4), which is considered late. This means nearly half of all cancer diagnoses are made when the disease is harder to treat effectively, potentially impacting survival rates.
