After 9 years Whanake Youth has closed ,Whanake Youth isn’t just another youth group; it’s a beacon of hope and empowerment for our young people. This unique organisation offers an extensive range of services tailored to equip youth with the skills and support they need to thrive. Among its remarkable programs is a comprehensive training course for aspiring baristas. Many who have completed this course have successfully found employment, a testament to the program's effectiveness and the dedication of its instructors in preparing our youth for the real world.

Beyond skill development, Whanake Youth provides crucial support services, such as counselling, and operates free nurse clinics accessible to individuals aged 12-24. These clinics are vital, especially in times when medical and psychological support can be difficult to access for young individuals. Furthermore, the provision of food boxes ensures that youth in need do not go hungry, supporting them through challenging times.

The SYP Social Enterprise Cafe complements these efforts by being more than a place to relax. It serves as a cornerstone of connection and community engagement. It is a place where young people can forge meaningful relationships, acquire life skills, and receive guidance they may not otherwise have.
