The Issue

Correct Title: “After if Paramount-Skydance bought Warner Bros. Discovery, let Warner Bros. keep their studios.”

Since Netflix has backed down on the bidding wars of Warner Bros. to Paramount-Discovery, both people and movie fans all over the world have both concerns and predictions of both Warner Bros. and Warner Bros. Animation are going to be shut down for good, because Paramount-Discovery bought Warner Bros. Warner Bros. has been with us for 103 years, and it’s one of the most timeless movie studios of all of Hollywood. Even Warner Bros. Animation has also been with us for over 90 years. Giving us wacky, friendly, and familiar characters like the Looney-Tunes like Porky Pig, Bugs Bunny, and Daffy Duck, it also gives us beloved characters from animated shows from Executive Producer Steven Spielberg like Babs Bunny, Buster Bunny, The Warner Siblings from Animaniacs, both Pinky and the Brain, Slappy Squirrel, and of course: “Minerva Mink.” Warner Bros. is also the home for DC Comic superheroes like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman etc.

When Warner Bros. bought Turner Entertainment Co. its library, Hanna-Barbera, Cartoon Network, ect, Warner Bros. Animation gave beloved cartoon stars from MGM like Tom and Jerry, and Droopy and the cartoon stars like Scooby-Doo, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, and Yogi Bear, a whole new life in animation, as well as both Courage The Cowardly Dog and the characters from The Wizard of Oz. Warner Bros. Animation did produce an animated movie for New Line Cinema’s franchise The Lord of the Rings in the form of an anime.

However Paramount Pictures used to have rights of a motion picture and a horror movie franchise before Warner Bros. have both rights of a motion picture and a horror movie franchise (rights of a horror movie franchise with New Line Cinema) Paramount Pictures used to have the motion picture copyrights of: “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” or as I like to call it: “Willy Wonka and his Chocolate Factory,” well it makes sense to me. Because of: "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” AKA: “Willy Wonka and his Chocolate Factory” became a box office failure, Warner Bros. is the current copyright holder of: “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” AKA: “Willy Wonka and his Chocolate Factory.” “Paramount Pictures” used to have the franchise rights of the horror film franchise: “Friday the 13th” and the rights of the horror movie character: “Jason Voorhees,” from 1980 to 1989 because of the poor performance of: “Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan” AKA: “Friday the 13th VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan” both the horror  movie franchise of: “Friday the 13th,” and the horror movie character: “Jason Voorhees” was acquired by: “New Line Cinema.”

In 1964, “Warner Bros.” used to have the motion picture copyrights of the academy award winning masterpiece: “My Fair Lady" starring: “Audrey Hepburn” and: “Rex Harrison.” But it’s actually sold to: “CBS” in 1962. 20th Century Fox (Studios) Film Corporation used to have a partnership in 1982, up until both in the years of 2000 and in 2019.

Both Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures did co-distribute a couple of movies. Like: “South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut,” or: “South Park: The Movie,” or: “The South Park Movie,” whatever you want to call it. There’s: “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “Watchmen,” and: “Interstellar.”

That’s why we must keep the spirit of both: “Warner Bros.” and: “Warner Bros. Animation” alive by: “Paramount-Skydance” letting Warner Bros. keep their studios for generations to come. But with your help by signing this petition, we can keep on bringing life to Warner Bros.’ spirit of moviemaking.
