On January 21, 2016 House Bill 1342 was submitted by Eileen Filler-Corn and Christopher Stolle that would eliminate Religious Vaccination Exemptions. I urge you to OPPOSE HB 1342 because it prohibits families from exercising their freedom of conscience that applies to their religious beliefs and obtaining a religious exemption for their child for one or more state required vaccinations. HB 1342 also prohibits doctors and nurse practitioners from exercising professional judgment in delaying administration of or granting a medical exemption to a child for one or more vaccinations if the reasons do not conform with federal vaccine contraindication guidelines.
