There’s been a flood of misinformation spreading about John Patrick University (JPU), and it’s time to set the record straight with the truth, the law, and now—political support.
✅ Fact Check: JPU IS Certified
Let’s kill the lie once and for all.
JPU is accredited by ACCSC, a U.S. Department of Education–recognized body. That’s exactly why JPU graduates are eligible to sit for the ARRT exam, the highest federal standard for radiologic technologists.
If JPU wasn’t properly accredited, we couldn’t take the exam. PERIOD!!!
And New York’s own regulations are crystal clear:
Students must graduate from a program that is JRCERT or another approved accrediting body. That “OR” is the law—not a loophole.

So why is JPU the only one being targeted?
🚨 What NY DOH Is Doing Is Unconstitutional
The NY Department of Health is now removing graduates from the registry and mailing letters that say their licenses were a “clerical error”—demanding they stop working immediately.
These licenses are property, protected by the 14th Amendment.
You cannot seize property without due process—and yet DOH is doing exactly that.
This is a clear constitutional violation and a direct attack on our right to work after we followed every rule, passed every exam, and earned every credential.

Assemblyman Charles Fall from Staten Island has officially weighed in—and he agrees with us.
He has reviewed the situation and is forwarding the full report and documentation to Governor Hochul’s office.
