Department of Atomic Energy has in a reply to RTI query on the status of Dr Homi Bhabha's home replied that the topic does not come under the purview of the department and hence they cannot reply to it. Now, the onus is increasingly on the Maharashtra State Government to declare it a a monument after it is clear that the Government can take a stand on the matter.
