Let Their Cry Be Heard: Stand with Persecuted Christians in Nigeria

Let Their Cry Be Heard: Stand with Persecuted Christians in Nigeria
The Issue
“The blood of the innocent cries out from the soil of Nigeria.
Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.” – Amos 5:
Across the beautiful and faith-filled land of Nigeria, darkness has risen against the light of the Gospel. Entire Christian villages have been burned to ashes. Families torn apart. Pastors slaughtered. Children, orphaned women, and the elderly were driven from their homes with nothing but their prayers and tears.
The cries of God’s people in Nigeria echo through the earth — yet the world remains largely silent. How long will we look away while blood soaks the soil that once sent revival fires across Africa and beyond?
Nigeria was once known as a spiritual lighthouse, a nation of great faith, powerful revivals, and men and women of God who shook the world: Benson Idahosa, Nigerian revivals, and countless others who preached Christ with power and love. Today, the children of that faith are being hunted for the same name that once brought light to their land, Jesus Christ
Our Cry for Justice and Compassion:
We, the undersigned, would like to appeal to the Nigerian government, international human rights bodies, the United Nations, and global faith communities to act urgently and resolve.
We demand:
Immediate intervention to stop the persecution of Christians and faith-based minorities in Nigeria.
Protection for churches, villages, and displaced families, ensuring safe zones and humanitarian aid.
Accountability for those orchestrating violence, no more silence, no more impunity.
Freedom of worship and religious expression are safeguarded by law and enforced without bias.
Global awareness and prayer mobilization to enable nations and believers everywhere to stand together as one voice for justice.
A Message to Nigeria’s Leaders:
To the leaders of Nigeria, your nation was born with destiny. You carry a divine trust to lead with righteousness and truth.
Do not betray the blood of your people.
Do not trade your moral conscience for political comfort.
You have the power to heal the wounds of this nation.
Rise. Act. Lead with courage. Let the world see a government that fears God and values every human life.
Our Global Call to Action:
This is not just a Nigerian crisis; it is a human crisis.
It is time for the worldwide Church of Jesus Christ to stand in unity, in intercession, and in advocacy.
✦ Pray for Nigeria daily.
✦ Speak on behalf of the voiceless.
✦ Share this petition across nations.
✦ Sign with conviction that every signature represents a soul who refuses to be silent.
Let the persecuted know they are not forgotten.
Let the wicked know that justice will not sleep forever.
Let the world see that love still conquers hate, and faith still overcomes fear.
Final Declaration:
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 5:10
We stand with Nigeria.
We stand with the persecuted.
We stand for Christ.
Together, let us be the voice that breaks the silence.
