I, the undersigned and a resident of Sayville Union Free School District (NY), hereby implore the Sayville Union Free School District Board of Education to allow the public to choose the public’s representative for the now vacated seat, previously held by James Bertsch, via a special election to be held once the 2025-2026 school year begins or, as a cost savings measure, by leaving the seat open until the May 19, 2026 annual budget vote and election of Board of Education members.

Please do not 'appoint' a new member and dismiss our voting voices.
