Dear supporters,
On June 25th, Mr. Hideki Nagayama (Chairman of the Taiwan Research Council), Mr. Ilham Mahmut (Honorary Chairman of the Japan Uighur Association), and myself (Lindell Lucy, initiator of the "Let Taiwan Be Taiwan at the Tokyo Olympics" petition) visited the office of the Japanese Olympic Committee in an attempt to hand-deliver letters and copies of our petitions.
A half-hour documentary video of the visit has been uploaded to YouTube.
A collection of photos and video of the visit can be viewed in a public folder on Google Drive.
A description of the visit, along with photos, has been posted at Taiwan2020Tokyo.org.

I wrote a follow-up email to the IOC and JOC and copied it to many international news organizations. That email describes the experience of the JOC visit from my perspective. You can read it HERE.
I will continue to advocate for Taiwan being treated with equality and dignity at the Olympics. If we do not have success at Tokyo, I plan to change the name of this petition to "Let Taiwan Be Taiwan at the Paris 2024 Olympics." I hope you will continue to support it.
I will update you about any media coverage of our JOC visit and if we eventually get a response from the IOC and JOC.

6月25日、日本オリンピック委員会訪問時の写真と動画

6月25日、永山英樹（台湾研究フォーラム会長）、イリハム・マハムティ（日本ウイグル協会会長）、私（Lindell Lucy、 “東京五輪には台湾は台湾の名称で出場を”請願活動の創始者）の三名は我々の手紙と請願の写しを直接届けるために日本オリンピック委員会(JOC)を訪問ました。

6月25日訪問日本奧委會的照片和影片紀錄
親愛的朋友們，
6月25日，「台灣研究會」主席-長山英樹先生、「日本維吾爾族協會」榮譽主席-伊力哈木先生和「東京奧運 讓台灣成為台灣」請願連署發起人- Lindell Lucy 我本人，三人一同訪問了日本奧委會辦公室，試圖親手遞送我們的請願連署書。
