The students and parents of Algonquin Regional High School strongly advocate for the introduction of food delivery services on our school premises. By allowing students to have food delivered during designated times, we provide them with an opportunity to develop crucial life skills, such as time management, communication, and problem-solving. This initiative promotes personal growth, financial responsibility, and fosters stronger connections between our school and the local community.

The food served at the school is not always preferred or approachable for students. Most school lunches are not even eaten by students and are thrown away. The faculty of our institution is allowed to have any kind of delivery during school hours. We are asking for an approximately 30-minute exception to have students deliver during their lunch. The food delivery could be scheduled beforehand so students spend less time on their mobile devices. If anything, couriers are more qualified to be near a school than students, they have completed mandatory multi-step background checks, vehicle verification, and are required to take "selfies" regularly to verify their identity.

Algonquin Regional High School has many great locations for receiving deliveries while not letting in any outside visitors. These include the Gold (Upper School) Office, Maroon (Lower School) Office, and the Main Office.
