Spindlehorse employees are being forbidden from producing any form of fanmade merch that utilizes anything Hellaverse-related. This ranges from selling merch online to merely using audio from any of their shows in a social media post which could potentially be monetized. Even products of Hellaverse OC’s are not allowed.

Spindlehorse was built on the backs of independent small creators and fans. They often hire fan artists to work on their shows, finding them through the fan work they post online. Now, they want to ban those same fan artists from producing independent works that could build their platforms and help pay their bills. Spindlehorse does not pay a livable wage to their artists but also forbids those artists from making fan content they could profit off of, deterring fans from wanting to work for or even support the studio.
