Thanks everyone. We are up to 3113 signatures, including those in hard copy. Please everyone keep up the good work and encourage as many people you know who have visited, or who are likely to visit the beautiful Gippsland Lakes, to have a say in their future. We want our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to be able to catch a fish every time they come, not just now and then. We have had support from clubs to the west in Portland and Port Fairy, inland towards Shepparton, up towards the Murray, and in Preston and Northcote as well as locally. We have had some media exposure in the Greater Eastern Mail again as well as the Bairnsdale Advertiser. Coming soon we hope is an article in the Weekly Times and Fishing Monthly. Not bad for amateurs!! We are hoping still to get a professional media person to assist which will help get more statewide and perhaps national recognition. We are working on the fundraiser to support this and more information will follow. So far we have 2k pledged. Again to everyone who is supporting us THANK YOU... Just to let you know we are in regular contact with the VFA and VRFish (who are currently formulating policy prior to the state election) We are awaiting return correspondence from Minister Pulford, Minister Neville and Minister D'Ambrosio. We have a meeting in June with Harriet Shingh and next month with local MP TIm Bull. Unfortunately a request for a meeting with local business people and Mr Andrews did not eventuate.
