Let's have BBC UK Eurovision send Fleisch to represent the UK at Eurovision in 2027.
The Issue
Dear BBC Eurovision,
For too long the UK has treated Eurovision like a risk-averse boardroom exercise. We’ve wheeled out polished, focus-grouped pop acts that sound like they were designed by committee and left the European audience cold. Safe. Corporate. Forgettable. The public is done with it. Europe is done with it. And deep down, so are we.
Sam Ryder proved what happens when we stop playing it safe. He didn’t wait to be manufactured. He arrived already burning — raw talent, real voice, zero apology. The continent sat up and listened. That should have been the lesson.
This year we have another chance to stop sending “fine” and start sending fire.
That chance is FLEISCH.
This isn’t a group assembled in a meeting room. This is a band that has spent three years in the trenches — grinding, refining, refusing to disappear. They’ve built their own momentum the hard way. Resilience isn’t a marketing line for them; it’s the sound in their chests. On a stage that rewards high-octane presence, striking visuals, and songs that hit you in the body before they reach the head, FLEISCH deliver all of it. Edge. Hunger. That never-say-die British attitude we’ve been missing.
Eurovision doesn’t reward polite. It rewards the acts that walk on stage like they own the night. FLEISCH already walk like that.
It’s time to stop settling for safe.
It’s time to be bold.
It’s time for FLEISCH. 2027
