Hollywood’s Beloved Famous Celebrity Mountain Lion P-22 deserves a posthumous Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 12 year old “Hollywood Cat” made his debut in 2012 after completing a dangerous trek from the Santa Monica Mountains all the way to Griffith Park, which included crossing two major freeways. He became a local celebrity after being spotted near the Hollywood Sign and living in an urban setting amongst traffic and people. Several years ago P-22 overcame a public battle with rat poison, hiding beneath a Hollywood home in a saga that captivated TV audiences around the globe. Recently P-22 was hit by a car and was euthanized, leaving our city with a deep sadness and void. Let’s pay tribute to his kindred spirit and give him a farewell tribute he proudly deserves, a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
