An Open Letter and Call to Action to Melinda Gates, Kamala Harris, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Nancy Pelosi, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Elizabeth Warren, Barron's 100 Most Influential Women in Finance 2024 and all Powerful Women and People of distinction,

Let's Do Something, as Michelle Obama called us to do.....

Let’s create the First National Women’s Bank of America!!!

I’m only one woman, humble in my work and mindful of my status and capabilities.  I know not how to make this huge mission a reality, but I know there are smart people out there who do and can!!!  Maybe this already exists, maybe it's been tried before, but I would like to implore brilliant people everywhere to come together and create the First National Women’s Bank of America.  We need to speak the only language America and the World understands, MONEY.  We need to stop asking for permission, but rather build a universe that supports our ideas, our bodies and our communities of OTHER (i.e. Women, self identifying Women, People of Color, LGBTQ+, Elderly, etc), and wait no more for the crumbs to be doled out by the bankrolled.  We need to bankroll ourselves, build our own hospitals and be the players at the table who are so powerful, we can outplay the dark money and win our values by the same rules they leverage their own.  Let's not march and bang pots and pans for people who don’t care about us.  Let's march to our own drummer, combine our assets and energy and make a gorgeous village that means business and is a business.

Let’s be the bank that Vice President Harris can use to support small business’ and new parents.  Let’s use the interest from our credit card to fund new programs and build hospitals that study women’s health and provide comprehensive women's healthcare.  Let’s move in the world the way all pioneers have done and make the future in our likeness.  

Arm and arm with all people who share this vision (including our brothers), we can move our mortgages and investments to this great bank and become a formidable financial epicenter for equality and a voting block that cannot be ignored anymore.

I am only one woman, or am I?  

If we really believe in our brilliant value as huge contributors to our economy, families and communities, we must build a new pathway forward.  We cannot ask for permission anymore, we must make what we need and take what we need.  Let’s not allow it to be about politics, let’s make it about the power we wield when we concentrate all our energies in one place, the National Women’s Bank, the bank that could be in every Town in every State.  And let’s write our credo in the currency we collect and spend it, moving culture and inspiring change in the open and free market.

Who will help this letter find its way to the people who could start this ambitious and formidable venture? Who of us knows the person who can start putting the pieces together to make our future’s and our children’s future’s safe, full of hope and opportunity? 

So I'm calling all brilliant economists, visionaries, activists and movers and shakers.  Help us lift every woman, person of color, and LGBTQ+ deserving of equality, opportunity and agency in the land of the free and home of the brave. Let’s create the First National Women’s Bank of America and be the force of nature we have always been, banked by the Other, for the Other!!!
