We have been in Highschool for 2 years now and both of those years, Juniors have been allowed off campus and it hasn’t caused any issues. It really helped more than anything. Food didn’t run out as fast and there was way more room in the cafeteria. We collectively think that if our parent or legal guardians sign a form saying we are allowed to leave during lunch then we should be able to. Students will be able to gain nutrition that they might not get as school because some students refuse to eat the lunches provided. It also isn’t fair that the classes above us got the privilege of being able to go out during lunch as Juniors but it just gets taken from us even though we did not do anything. It might be a privilege that is earned by being a senior but is it really that bad to give that privilege to juniors like it has been the past two years. The cafeterias are overflowed with people and lunches are selling out before everyone can even get what they want. All that needs to be done is give juniors the right to leave off campus if their parent signs a form.
