This petition is for the players, parents , and teachers, and alumni who love this school and put in so much effort to see it succeed. Part of that success comes from a great school spirit. Bear naish has been awesome in 2024 so far. We haven’t even had a home game yet! It’s been brought to the bear naish teams attention that the speaker and powder need to be removed. While we fully support and will abide by whatever the administration and school say we think this would be a big mistake and ashame. The parents of the players, teachers, players and students all love these two things and they are what make the student section go. However there may be people also against these things… while we fully respect their point of view we do not agree. The powder is extremely harmless when handled CORRECTLY. The speakers get the student section involved instead of quiet and on their phones. When the band plays the speaker will go off however we need to be met half way in some sorts. We love the band at football games but the student section needs to have a time to do their thing as well. PLEASE SIGN THIS NOT ONLY FOR YOURSELF BUT FOR THE ALUMNI AND ALL THE PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT CHS ATHELTICS AND THE STUDENT SECTION.
